PARTICIPATION

  Inscription of the participants is open and free of charge.

  The term of inscription opens
September 1st, 2002. Inscription to the Congress.

  The participation follows the scheme of the traditional scientific activities, and will include social activities.

  Papers can be sent in the form of:

  • Invited lectures
  • Free topics and Posters
  • Online Conferences (Internet Relay Chat)
  • Discussion Forums of each Thematic Unit of the Congress. To participate in the different Forums, inscription to the Congress and also some additional information are required. Registration includes User name, Password and a valid e-mail. You are encouraged not to use alias to facilitate recognition between forum participants. The discussion forums utilize Web-based bulletin boards and are designed to engage participants in discussions related to neuropsychology with the advantage of avoiding e-mail saturation. You are cordially invited to add a comment to a discussion subject or to start a new discussion.

  The Scientific Committee would have the possibility to reject any non-appropriate paper or to indicate to the authors the modifications required for its acceptation.

   Since all the Abstracts and Invited Conferences accepted by the Scientific Committee will be published in Revista de Neurologia, all papers submitted to the Congress, or the essence of its content, must be previously unpublished and may not be under simultaneous consideration by another journal.

  During the precongressional phase, training will be provided in the use of the Internet, including programs of conversation in real time and design of Web pages.

  All papers could be submitted in any of the three official languages of the Congress (Spanish, English, French). However, not only
the conferences, but also the presentations and the posters should include the title, abstract and key-words in English.

   The participation of the professionals in the Congress will be certificated.


SUBMISSION OF ABSTRACTS

  The deadline for the abstract reception will be
February 15th 2003. The inscription of the first author of the manuscript is required for participation in the Congress. Abstract submission is available by completing the submitting-form found in the Congress web site click here.


SUBMISSION OF FULL-TEXT INVITED LECTURES, POSTERS AND FREE-TOPIC PRESENTATIONS

  Full-text manuscripts must be submitted by completing the submitting-form available in the Congress web site. Tables and figures should be also submitted following the instructions displayed in the Congress web site (click here).
The deadline for the reception of manuscripts will be
April 1st, 2003.

  Since the full-text paper of all the Invited Lectures will be published in Revista de Neurología, three additional printed copies of all Invited Conferences must be sent by regular mail, including a 1.4 MB diskette or CD-Rom, to the address below. All the manuscripts will have to be in agreement with the norms of publications of Revista de Neurologia.

Images format

  All the images should be submitted apart form the manuscript (but with clear reference of its position in the text) to the Technical Secretary of the Congress. All the images should include: the title of the manuscript, the authors and the discussion panel assigned. The format images allowed include: gif, jpg, or tif. It must be taken into account that large pictures will be slow download in the internet.


On-line conferences (Internet Relay Chat)

  Relevant presentations will be displayed on real time, in its original language by textconference in the chat channel of the Congress. Commentaries regarding any of the presentation, poster or conferences presentations will be performed in panels of discussion or by lists of electronic mail.


Supporting entities

  Every Institution, University or Organization related to Neuropsychology or Neuroscience interested in collaborate as a supporting entity for the Congress, may complete the Collaborating Form display in the Congress Web.
