the aim to share and to spread experiences, to facilitate relationships
among professionals and to encourage communication in the field
of Clinical and Experimental Neuropsychology, the Department of
Brain Injury-NISA Valencia al Mar Hospital (Valencia, Spain),
La Laguna University (Canary Islands, Spain) and the Centre of
Readaptation Lucie-Buneau (Montreal. Canada), with the altruistic
collaboration of other organizations, are proud to announce the
II INTERNATIONAL CONGRESS OF NEUROPSYCHOLOGY IN THE INTERNET,
for professionals involved in disciplines related to neuropsychology.
The I
International Meeting of Neuropsychology took place two years
ago. It was supported by the International Neuropsychological
Society (INS), being its Honor Committee kindly presided by Her
Majesty the Queen Sofía of Spain. This Meeting gathered
95 conferences, 90 free communications and 42 on-line conferences
(Internet Relay Chat). Six hundred professional from 29 different
countries were registered and more than 17000 visits to the Meeting
web-site were recorded since November 1999. Most of the presentations
held on the I International Meeting of Neuropsychology are nowadays
used as reference papers for lectures and as a source for fellow
training. With the aim of repeating the success achieved by the
I International The Organizing Committee invites you to participate
in this II INTERNATIONAL CONGRESS
OF NEUROPSYCHOLOGY IN THE INTERNET.
The World Wide Web constitutes
the perfect tool to enhance communication among professionals
related to Neuropsychology from every part of the world, especially
if they are isolated or reside in places with fewer opportunities
for continuing education.
The Second Congress will share the same characteristics of the
previous one. Invited presentations will be held online and live
discussions on the internet will be scheduled for all interested
participants.
